Hole number 16 is a short par 4
dogleg left with an out-of-bounds guarding the dogleg. Some long
hitters will want to lay-up off the tee with a long iron or a fairway
metal to their preferred distance, while other really long hitters may
want to "cut the leg" and go for the green. From 100
yards the green is readily available for a wedge, but two traps in the
front and one in the back are waiting for mistakes. The green
slopes from back to front and members sometimes play the back of the
