Hole number 5 is a medium range
par 4 dogleg left. From the tee you may be tempted to "cut
the dogleg" - don't do it. Any drive to the left will make
getting to the green very difficult. First you have to deal with
the two traps that protect the left side, but any shot from the left
rough will be over trees to a very shallow green making it very hard to
stop the ball. Playing down the right center of the fairway will
give you the best access to the green and help take the bunker on the
right front out of play. The green slopes gently from the back to
the front. (click for full view)
