Number 9 is the longest par 4 on
the course. If playing your tee shot across a lake with an
out-of-bounds protecting the dogleg to a landing area also protected by
two large bunkers and trees sounds interesting, it is. If hitting
a mid or long iron uphill to a very large two level green with large
traps protecting the left side sounds interesting, it is. The
green is about 70 feet front to back and about 6 feet higher in back,
which can create some very interesting putts. If the hole sounds
difficult, it is and it is the number one handicap hole, but some of the
members think it is even harder than that. (click for full view)
